it's one of the most popular options on the Camaro. Makes no sense imo.

I rather have the very unique and better looking mohawk styled roofline than the flat featureless sunroof style roof. If you're not talking about T-tops like the factory 3rd gen F-body style (not that ugly aftermarket stuff they had for the 5th gen) or perhaps the full targa style removable roof (C4 though C7 Corvette style), the full mohawk style roof is the much better option appearance-wise on the 5th gen. |

totally brightens up the interior. The mohawk roof is hardly noticeable on the 5th Gen Camaro as is the sunroof. My Camaro wouldn't be as enjoyable to cruise in without the popular sunroof. Best $900.00 I ever spent.

Only complaint I have is it does take quite a bit of headroom away from the driver. But at 5'9", I am not exactly pushing the limits of my interior.

Congrats it’s an awesome feeling. paid mine off last summer. All the extra money we are saving without the payments went to new mods got an edelbrock eforce and a forged motor is in the cards soon. Wife wiould rather spend the money letting me mod rather than starting a new car payment.

Thanks, all, for the kind words! I meant to get a beer or two to celebrate tonight, but got busy with kids and forgot. Lol Maybe tomorrow. Be a very rare occasion, but well-earned, as this was a major achievement, due to many crazy turns since I first ordered my R6P 2010.
So far as the sun roof, to each their own, but I am a former pro body man. Our mantra is if you don't want a leak, don't buy a car with a hole in the roof! They ALL leak, eventually, and do plan to keep it until I pass it down when I go. I also thought the mowhawk roof design was one of the great body elements. Here is a more recent picture. Good night, all! |
