I spoke with slp this morning and the guy said the company got bought out in 2014 by the company he works for and they don't have and records from them. He said slp started a new company and go by the name sve vehicles. My wife tried calling them with no answer

Wow!! I'm shocked! Hopefully SVE Vehicles has the records still because that's insane. Too much GM awesomeness to have lost the records.

Yep, I remember reading about when the sale went though. It's strange because you can still buy some new SLP parts, but maybe the brand was licensed out?

It was a real bummer to hear because when I had my 4th gen TA I remember SLP being top dog when it came to many parts for that generation. I had a 1995 TA with an SLP Ram Air hood, SLP air box, TB airfoil, SLP Loudmouth exhaust... We can also thank them for the 4th gen Firehawk and Z28 SS.

My wife spoke with sve vehicles today and they do have the records. The zl454 where made in the gm factory with slp parts and not numbered. The number 238 is the number of the part kit that was sent to gm to be installed. it's one of roughly 500 so I guess it is numbered really. The 550 and 570 where tracked. The women seemed very knowledgeable so definitely probably right.

Damn. For what that package probably cost new they should have tracked every single one of them.

I was looking over the options list. Damn those added up quick if you wanted it totally spec'd out!

I think this car has a lot of them opinions.not all but lots of them. Probably wasn't cheap. Any idea of a price for this car when new?

I just got my 2010 ZL454 about a month ago. I've been waiting for the right Gen 5 camaro to come along and I think it did. This thing is a beast.
