Yea, sounds like a bunch of fitment issues. Did you buy this as a kit? Does Huron know about the problems you found? I've always heard good things about their stuff. Kinda surprises me.

This is why you need a thin wall socket to install the spark plugs.

The proper position to mount a wide band is between the 9-3 o clock positions, Leaving this mount position exposes the sensitive sensor to more condensation, in the long run ruining your sensor. That is why it is position the way it is.

What type of turbo are you using on this kit? The precision unit i have did not have any odd issues with setting up for a drain line.

PCM of NC makes the correct wires for this build, has the correct size and angle to fit and add wrapping. Folks want to reuse stock wires or the MSD boot style, you will run into problems.

Thanks for the info on the plug wires, I think I'll use the PCM wires that came in the kit, just not sure how to route them, but I'll get it figured out. As for the wide band sensor bung, the kit I got has it at the 12 o'clock position and it is too close to the floor board of the car to install a sensor. I welded a new one on at about the 2 o'clock position. I'm using the Huron Speed turbo and the drain fitting that was sent just doesn't have enough clearance to install the -10 drain hose. It just needed to be extended a bit for the hex fitting to clear. A small problem to be sure, but a problem. I just listed it so people who buy the kit will be aware and have the correct part on hand should they need it.

I got the exhaust connected, I cut two sections of 3" exhaust pipe nine inches long and used some butt joint band clamps from Vibrant to connect them. I had to heat and bend the last pipe in the kit and adjust the angle upward about 20 degrees. Now it's almost time to start tuning!

If you flip your PCM's and have the harness come above the hot piping, you will have a much nicer time, any contact the way it sits stock will surely bring forth burned harness wires. i used mercedes wiring loom material to protect and keep it all together.

I did flip the ECM and it was much easier to route and insulate the wiring.

that's what I like to hear!

what turbo did you end up going with? I've had my kit since May and can't make up my mind.

I went with the Huron Speed 7875, but if I had to choose now I would go with the new Turbonetics 7575 billet. It wasn't out yet when I got my kit.

What didn't you like a out the Huron 7875?

Also, can anyone confirm that the WB bung is clocked wrong?

I've heard that this kit makes your car sound like an old truck and that's not very convincing lol. Would installing a resonated x pipe or true x pipe right after the "Y' help any?.

The new Turbonetics turbo is ball bearing, and has the option of the oil and liquid cooled center section. It's more money than the Huron Speed 7875, but I think it would be worth it.

This is the ECM bracket that needs to be modified so you can flip the ECM. The areas circled in blue need to slightly removed and the areas circled in red are the retaining tabs that hold the bracket in the car. If you can modify it without removing it, I would suggest that. I had a lot of difficulty getting the tabs circled in red to snap back into place after I removed it.
