Whats a good indoor car cover

I have a 2014 Camaro which is kept in the garage. I have also been putting a dust cover on the car when not in use. The cover is nothing special looking and has a soft, thin cotton lining so it doesn't damage the paint. I wanted something a little nicer and recently purchased a cover from RPI Designs made by MODA. The cover looks great (here is a link for it https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item...oor-with-logo/ ). It's soft as silk, however it doesn't have a cotton lining. My question is: Will not having the cotton lining do any damager to the paint and also if anyone knows of a nice cover that has a cotton lining that I can purchase. Thanks for the input

Richard

Shouldn't be an issue if you put the car away clean each time.

I like my california car cover dustop that I use on the 68 Camaro throughout the year.

Before I put the car cover on, I use a waterless car wash spray and wipe the car down. If I don't have time to do that, I don't put the cover on until I do.

I have a dark grey coverking satin stretch cover. Hands down the nicest, softest cover I've ever owned.

Not that brand, but I also have an indoor stretch satin cover and it is fantastic. Super soft and easy to put on and take off. Best cover I have ever had and I've had a few.

i have the same cover as you do, as well as a black Camaro. like ChibiBlackSheep said, as long as you wipe the car down before you cover it, there shouldnt be an issue. Also, like him, i dont cover it unless i can clean/ wipe it off. No issues with scratches. It really is a very nice cover.

How do you guys clean your covers? My ancient cover I have for my Olds is too big for my washing machine and hanging out at a laundry mat doesn't sound like fun (but may be necessary).

Huh, I would have thought the boxed in room, with a ceiling, would make a good cover...

Hey everyone. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I do use a none wash cleaner to get rid of any bugs or road grim and dust the entire call with a California Duster also (does anyone else have problems with the red lint that comes off those things?). I'll give the new cover a try and see how it goes. Thanks again everyone

Have to agree, fine for indoor use and easy enough to throw in the washer as well.
