To get the screen shot, view the lap list on your phone screen, press and hold the button on the right side of the phone and while holding that button press the circle button on the front of the phone. You will see the screen flash like a shutter. Check your photos, should be in there.

I went slower (45s) on my last outing with Z/28 suspension, BFG Rivals and an open diff that is going in for service this week. Not the way I wanted to end my season! :( -Matt

Matt I ran Gingerman 3 different times this year and this by far was the coolest day yet. I ran in June with CGI, and it was hot! (85+ degrees). I ran again in mid September, and if I recall it was still in the high 70's. Both times the tires made all kinds of noise, and the car was sliding all over the place. I did a number on my left front and end up removing it from the wheel and switching it with the right rear. This last event the air temp was in the high 40's low 50's, overcast with some sun in between rain. When the track was dry there was so much grip! The tires never made any noise and I was hitting speeds that I've never seen before. My fastest lap it was actually drizzling in some areas of the track, but not enough to cause any traction issues. Everyone was raving about the new pavement, but until this last event I wasn't very happy with the change. I'm going to try to get out early next year so I can experience this again.

1996 Mustang GT - 254/302 rwhp/tq, 3260 lbs, 275/40/17 Toyo RR's
TWS CCW - 1:56.2 - TWS CW - 1:55.4 (had a 54.8 but had to lift for traffic) MSR-H CW - 1:47.3 (First time I got to drive this direction) I did two laps in my dad's c7 Stingray CCW at TWS and got a 1:59 with traffic. It's completely stock, and he wouldn't let me turn off any of the TC/Stabilitrac crap. It's easily a 1:55 car stock. Auto-rev matching is great. |
