2011 LS V6 vs 2011 Dodge Charger SXT V6
I know the LS has the 3.6L, and the Charger is a 3.5L, who would win?

the camaro destroys the 3.5l charger... looking at your mods if youd throw some headers/gear/tune you would be able to run with the R/T.

I wouldn't say .3 seconds faster to 60 mph and through the quarter is "destroying" the Chally. The Challenger only weighs 130 lbs more and these numbers were with it's antiquated 5-speed automatic . *edit-woops I thought it said Challenger, but the Charger only weighs 70 lbs more, same basic specs and #'s. |

Still down on power & up on weight ... usually not a winning formula

The V6 Camaro shouldnt have a single bit of trouble with the V6 Chargers, 290ish HP and 260-70 TQ on 4000 pounds or so of weight.
However, the 2011 R/T has the same engine as the 2009/10/11 Challenger R/T's, and have been turning in solid mid 13 second times. Long story short... V6 Camaro vs. V6 Charger-Camaro wins V6 Camaro vs. Hemi Charger-Camaro loses. |

Back to the topic, Camaro v6 vs any charger/challenger v6 is the way faster Equal to R/T with a full set of mods. |

I rented a 2011 V-6 Charger a few weeks ago. A V-6 Camaro would easily take it.

I used to own a SXT Charger and I know how fast it wasn't. But I never knew what they would be head to head on a track. Thanks guys.

Again magazine times are more for reference and really don't predict real life outcome. I love how magazines are saying the times for the R/T are quicker for 2011 yet it weighs more than previous years, has the same 5 speed auto and still has a crap drag coefficient. Oh and stock for stock a V6 Camaro manual is almost as fast as an Altima so if I can beat my friends stock 2010 AWD Charger R/T while I was stock I dont see why the V6 Camaro would need all those mods to do it.

Lol magazine racers make me laugh. My point is a Camaro v6 shouldn't need all those mods to beat a R/T given a decent driver. So beating a v6 Charger is not an issue for a v6 Camaro.
