Everything about performance cars, hot rods, antques, modding, racing, or anything outside of basic transportation is completely unnecessary. But so too are large homes, fine dining, sports, vacations etc...
What the looser that wrote this idiotic article doesn't get is that these things give people a reason to get up everyday. They evoke a passion that helps to fuel living. Do these things look good to bean counters? No.
But that's because their passion is money. They don't have the capacity to understand anything outside of that.

Besides, a car itself is a bad investment in the sense of the word.

GG...I thought there was a regulation in place to prevent that photo from ever being seen again. Writer should be arrest just for showing such a traumatic thing.

Done 2/5 "Worst" and it dramatically improved the way the car handles, feels and looks.

Sounds like the writer is a pompous Prius driver and wants to let you know how wrong you are for not thinking like him. Strange this was a FOX news story.

Another bad accessory that I still see people buying, are car bra's. These are the worst thing you can put on your car, I can't believe after I first purchased one in 1983 that they are still selling these. Not to be confused with the new clear bras, which are very effective, and invisible.

If you understood the point of the car you would know. The car was built for advertising. Not only was it built over the top for a reason, it was also a tax write off for the shop ... It's a win, win for the shop that built it. Who's laughing now !!!
