Autocross and cooler weather
I posted this question in the tire section but didn't get a response so I figured I'd try it here hoping to get fellow Z owners advice. Contemplating an autocross event soon but the temps will probably be in the 40-50 degree range. When I drive to the track temps may be the high 30s. I'm running the Michelin Pilot 4S and I know I won't get top performance at these temps I just don't want to damage the tires in these lower temps. Any input from you folks that cross/track your cars in the chillier regions would be appreciated.

You won't hurt the tires, but they won't get up to temperature. They won't work very well, but 95% of your competitors will be in the same boat as you.
