question on LS7 intake
So I got the LS7 intake with my GPI max kit. My factory map sensor out of my 15 Camaro SS is retained by a screw. The LS7 intake doesnt have a spot for a screw. Looks like it just clips in. Anyone happen to know a part# for what sensor I'm to use? No boost currently. Thanks

Did you contact GPI directly and ask them what they use?
Rhino79 on here is Ryan at GPI, he's good at responding to PMs

So they said a 1 bar ls7 map sensor is what im after. Im having trouble here, but it seems the 14 camaro z28 had the ls7 motor. The acdelco part# 12644569 seems to fit but not 100% sure. Amazing how this isnt easier to find lol. Now not sure if that will work and also if the plug is the same

Plug is different and I believe calibration is different in the Ecu.

Ok, so the sensor is correct and fits in the intake perfect. The plug is wrong. Still a 3 wire, but gonna have to change out the factory plug it seems. Guess I just need a factory LS7 map sensor harness?

Wonder if anyone makes an adapter. I thought the LS3/LSA/LS7 harness was the same, just the sensor was different.
Edit: Doing some research it looks like the difference is between Bosch and Delphi sensors/connector styles. Apparently the early LS7s used a Delphi connector style and didn't move over to the Bosche style until later. Wow. What a pain in the ass. There has got to be a way to do this without having to rewire the harness. Did the LS7 use the Gen III LS style connector? If so, they make a harness for that.
