I see the Zee as being a disciple of "minimalism"...less is MORE.
*ZL1 splitter/spoiler (aero-correct), with perhaps (since the Zee is a "heritage"-based Model) the Heritage Grille as an identifier. *ZL1-type forged wheels/rubber for gription and lighter weight *Perhaps a lighter, heat-dissipating/vented hood *A few badges, grille/rear/fenders I don't think the price-point will afford the rear brake ducts that could replace the "vents", although GM PP would be remiss if they didn't offer 'em as a GM Accessory. Call it a day... NO GRX etc...nothing without merit and value that might otherwise add unnecessary weight. |

Z28 Preferences
I'd like to see some sort of functional hood scoop (low profile, no mail slot) similar to Bee in TF2 or the clay model from the GM design office that leak out long ago. I'm not much of a fan of the hood/front end on the ZL1. I'm also wishing for the SSX wheels (with red lines) and stance, ZR1 vette (or SLP ZL1) front splitter, ZR1 side skirts (maybe), quad exhausts with a clean and finished rear diffuser similar to Fessler's diffuser, one piece rear spoiler similar to Revolution styling or MPD1, front grill needs to be a standout, new piece, that integrates well and seemlessly into the front end. I'd also like to see some different factory paint options such as painted strips or maybe even a black top/side mirrors combo with color choices for the rest of the car.

Z/28 should have an all new grille, similiar to the Sniper grille. Something new and refreshing for the consumers. I'd get rid of the circular drl's and go with the box design like the other Z/28's have had as well...

I see what you're saying with the splitter there Pill. It makes sense, but what about a facia with a higher chin, and the splitter being the black plastic piece underneath it? I think that could work too if done correctly. I dunno, I'm just stoked about the possibility of a Z28 overall. Performance only, no frills, the whole market target for such a car describes me and what I want from a Camaro.
I truly believe the Z28 could end up being the most fun Camaro to mod. I think that really appeals to me as well. Just think of all the appearance mods alone that one could add to such a car that would make sense, over adding those things to one of the other models. |

If you notice the front bumper from TF2 is on the ZL1...I think there is an excellent chance the front bumper & hood from TF3 (which are ghostly similar to the Jay Leno) to make their way to the Z/28. And look at those intakes on the rear fenders!!! I really do hope that it is the Z/28 hidden in plain sight.

I agree...a Z28 should be minimal, with few amenities unless added on a-la-carte. As far as the big bowtie, I SERIOUSLY doubt that GM/Chevrolet would let the cars out the door without one. They want everyone to know it's a Chevrolet. Like it would need an introduction, but that's JMO.
I think we will see something like this near-term.

I don't see a point of a camaro with out a z28 and a v6 z28 is an abomination to the z28 lineage.

The new Z/28 will announced a few months after the ZL1 has hit the streets. That's when Chevrolet will pull their chips from the ZL1, and go all in on the Z/28. |

I personally think they need to make the Z-28 a N/A beast. No turbo or supercharger. Just brute force with just the engine.
