IPF pulleys

So I'm going on 7 weeks since my initial contact with IPF that I have been scared to drive my car so it's been out of use. I went to replace the bearings and one of the pulleys was ribbed and bearings were obviously not in the best of shape and the belt was worn down. They said the pulley was on back order and hoped to have it in 3 weeks, 3 weeks later they said 3 more weeks. 4 weeks later I'm just curious if anyone has a link to good pulley/bearing set up for our kit?I'll take the hit on cash, just want my car drivable again, 7 weeks is quite a long time to not have your vehicle.

Good luck, I requested a price quote on a pulley, spacer, and belt 7 weeks ago. Was told I would get it when they have an eta on the parts. Still nothing...

Go to a bearing supply store and get some FAG or SKF bearings. They should be able to match them up.

Bearing size is 6003-2Z or ZZ. Make sure abec 5 quality or if you never want to worry about this again go with a ceramic bearing at abec 5 or better. Just make sure they are rated high temp high speed. Like Sy has stated FAG or SKF are the best.

I called last friday because I did not get anything from them yet and was told that there was a problem with the fit of the replacment bearings into the pulley are something like that and they were hoping to have it resolved in about 2 weeks.

Mine have been making noise before the orginal thread was started and I was talking to them about it then. Unfortunately my wife has reclaimed the Durango and the Camaro is back to the DD because its taking so long. I hope I can get them and have it in before Pony Wars.

Could you temporarily put the factory belt back on and drive NA until you get new pulley and bearings? I know it wouldn't be as much fun, but would be safe to drive until the parts come in.

JohnnyB has done this, works fine. But I wouldn't do this to my car, for a long period of time.

In order to do that the supercharger would need to come off completely with the stock tune. Tried to load the stock tune with the supercharger still on with stock belt my car wouldn't run until I took the supercharger off completely.

Runnig with a SC tune for a while. No problems, just blacken exhaust tips. and 24 mpg. But the car really responds. but I would not drive the car with a SC and no tune. After installing mine I did drive it around my block to check for noises. I did not get on it. This would be too lean for this little 3.6. Then uploaded a tune. And no, I have no tuner to communicate with the ECU, At the time I had to send my ECU to IPF, when they just started out.
