1985 2 seat Camaro?

I hope someone can help with this as I want to buy this car if it is what the seller is telling me is correct. I know where a 1985 Camaro a gentleman has and he is telling me that GM had this option on Camaros where you could get only two seats with no back seat and it has a fiberglass cover that comes clear up to the back of the front seats. He says there were only 700 built and it is a rare car. Has anyone ever heard of these cars and was it actually built by GM?

Sounds like the convertibles they did out side of the factory.
Thought those were 1982 /83 cars. I am thinking
Asc did them but not sure if they were
ever done to 1985 body.

Had one of these notchbacks back in the day. If I remember right Pontiac only made a few over 700 in '88. Not the same but was defiantly fairly unique.

I remember seeing the two seat option way back in the day but didn't know if it was factory ASC who did it.
