OEM ZL1 wheels on SS

I read some conflicting threads, so I want to confirm.

Will the OEM Zl1 wheels/tires fit an SS?

Front - 20x10 with 285/35/r20 Goodyears F1
Rear - 20x11 with 305/35/r20 Goodyears F1

Some people suggest bulging, issues with handling etc.

Will they work on an SS (not lowered)?

Yes, they will fit just fine. You might have to tie back the rear brake cables with a heavy duty zip tie though.

As far as bulging? They are an aggressive fitment so the fronts are right at the top fender line. Some like that some prefer them to be tucked in more.

Handling? They handle great!

I have BFG Rivals rather than the Goodyear F1s and 285s in the back rather than the 305s but this pic should give you a pretty good idea what they would look like... Name: 20140613_215920.jpg

Yes, they bolt on with no issues at all. Like they said above, check your parking brake cable...not all of the cars need it tied back but some will.

If you want to save some $$ and put it towards the tires, we have our ZR28 wheel, in the same finish and sizes that look very nice on the cars!

Nothing new here, but confirmation the ZL1 setup with the Goodyears fit fine. I did have to ziptie the break lines. Mine is lowered 1.4".

Did you use hub centric rings for the change of bore on the wheels?

I am having a hard time finding proper fitment for wheels on my 2013 SS . Started autocross and want to drop the car down to race only 19" wheels from 20" and can't get a definite answer on what offset limits will work!?. Any help greatly appreciated!
