Rear diff upgrades/DSS axles
I'm doing DSS axles. So should I replace the differential too? I'm looking at the worm drive differentials. I already have cradle bushings and all BMR peices trailing arms, toe rods and LCA arms and wheel hop is not an issue but with the power I'm hoping to make. I'd like to upgrade the IRS as best as I can without going to a solid rear axle.

The ultimate strength would be a Torsen carrier in a ZL1 diff, or a 9" or s60 setup. A Torsen carrier in the 8.6 should hold quite a bit of power. A number of guys on here have done that. I've never heard anyone say they broke one.

I've thought about doing a ZL1 diff but it's hard finding an auto version with the 3.23 gear plus I ordered a DSS driveshaft already for the SS rear-end.
