Ok,
removal is easy. install requires a special tool AND NEW crank bolt. The install tool is basically a length of threaded rod with washers that helps push the pulley into place. I went to 3 places before I ended up at a dealers- they were the only place that had this tool. Use the OLD crank pulley to properly position/space the UD Pulley, then remove and install+torque the new crank pulley. BE CAREFUL during install, Pulley sits directly in front of the AC compressor. The dealer broke the compressor and had to replace it during my install, so damage to the AC unit can occur, Good luck, let us know how it turns out OH, and make sure the belts all fit BEFORE removal of old belts- found this out the hard way.

Take belts off, remove crank bolt, drop a large extension inside crank so you dont damage threads.. I use a 3 jaw puller, put the tip in end of the extension and remove pulley. A balancer install tool is the best way to get the new one back on. Once you have it on and can thread the OLD bolt back in a good ways, torque it down to seat pulley. Remove old bolt and install new, torque to spec. Here's the tool I use.. https://sdparts.com/details/scoggin-...-center/sd6628 Easy to make your own, or some people put a block of wood on the pulley and hit it dead center to get it started.. DO NOT use the stock bolt to get the pulley started. Goodluck!

These are the correct removal and installation tools. Do not use a crank bolt to install the pulley. Chances are you will pull out all the threads in the crank.

slight power increase and better response...not bad install with right tools...i would suggest headers and tune first tho...L99 tuned is a different car

I used an impact to remove and install the crank bolt.
removed the electric fans Removed crank bolt with impact Used pulley remover tool Put new pulley on and used a wood plank to tap it in Impacted new bolt in Use a knife to cut the ac belt.. Much easier And have a friend help blip the belt onto the new pulley.
