LUK clutch kit?
I guess we all know that LUK makes the clutches for GM cars including corvettes. I am getting a clutch kit for my 10' ss but got stumbled upon two different part numbers.
LUK 04-216 LUK 04-263 product description says one of them is for the 10' camaro & the other one is for a 05-11 corvette. Is there any difference between them, the only thing i see different is the slave cylinder one of them has I think is the oil feed tube. Which one should i get and do i have to get a flywheel as well? EDIT: I am swapping out my Mcloud RXT out and the reason is it slips when the clutch is cold. some say its normal for mcloud to do that and others say it time to replace. Once the clutch gains heat a bit it grips great.

Get the one for the Camaro. It's got a Camaro specific slave cylinder. I just installed 04-263 with a fidanza flywheel. Highly recommend it to reduce some weight
I think it's recommended to replace the flywheel as well. Not sure if it can be turned, but if you're going from the RXT to stock then you will definitely need a LS2/3/7 specific flywheel.

of course! mine is aluminium and it weighs 13.5 pounds. there is also a steel flywheel from Ram that weighs 19.x i believe.
stock is like 27 pounds lol

Q: Is it ok to install the clutch kit with the mcloud flywheel or do i have to change the flywheel as well?
That's if the flywheel is good.

I would imagine you'll need a new flywheel if you're going to the Luk/OEM clutch. But to really be sure I'd call Mcloud to clarify
