Sacto area people can head down 99 and meet the freno/bakersfield people. Dont' know if it is better to go 58 over to (the) 10 or to head up over the grapevine.

Sounds good. Hopefully more Bako people answer soon.

Sounds good, but everytime I go to Cabazon the parking lot is crowded. Don't know if you guys know which parking area is less crowded.

Over the grapevine would be better IMO. But it'll be a PIA to get from the 5 to the 10.

Edit: through the grapevine would be good to meet with the people coming down the 5.
But looking at the map, the 58 to 15 would be so much better to avoid LA traffic, if we indeed are meeting at Cabazon.
The I-5 people coming from the north might want to cross the 5 through the 58 to meet us if they want to avoid LA traffic too.

That's what I was thinking. Sac and anyone further north could meet the Bay Area group there (Westley rest area) as well as Modesto/Manteca and head south to meet Fresno at Harris Ranch and meet up with Bako at the Grapevine.

So, do you mean that everyone should just go on their own to Morongo, or should each "zone" meet at Morongo?

I think the final meeting spot should be near Palm Springs like Hugo said or the Cabazon area. But before we get there, I think each section should meet up before hand and then we all meet on the freeway on the way there.

What do you guys think? 5+ different meeting spots meeting on the 10 and making one last stop. EPIC!!!

Since you guys are the closest. We need to determine our meet time based on you guys so we can roll together.

Sounds good! Now we need to determine what time at Palm Springs/Cabazon and then we go from there.

Roughly 300 miles out from Cabazon/Palm Springs area, so work backward, what time do we want to get there, then go back 5 hours.

I agree. Each zone should meet at their designated place and times, and then we collectively meet at Morongo/Cabazon/Palm Springs.

Yes...truly EPIC!!!

Hmmm...this is where people are going to have different opinions, but I think that over time we can all agree to something.

Possibly get "there" around 6pm?
