NorCal Skyline Blvd Cruise + Alice's Restaurant 9/9 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey Everyone! Let's get another cruise going!

This one will be a drive of Skyline Blvd, starting in San Mateo, and driving down to the Los Gatos area.

We will be meeting in San Mateo in a parking lot to get everyone in a group. We will then take a short drive on Highway 92 until we get to Skyline Blvd (Hwy35) and take a 20 minute drive until we arrive at Alice's Restaurant in Woodside!

From there, we will continue our cruise down Skyline Blvd towards Summit Road and enter on onto Highway 17 to get back into Los Gatos.

It's about a 40 minute drive total, but lots of fun turns along the way. It's not too windy of a road so no passengers should get carsick.

Date: Sunday September 9th
Morning Meeting Place: Starbucks 2220 Bridgepointe Pkwy San Mateo, CA 94404
Meeting Time: 8am
Departure Time: 8:30am

8am might seem a little early, but Alice's gets packed...fast! I usually get there around 9am, and its starting to get busy, but 930 or 10 gets extremely packed with nice cars and bikers. (pretty popular weekend spot for breakfast).

Here's a map of the route in case anyone is interested.

I have 2 walkie talkies that I'll be bringing. I encourage all of you to bring some if you have walkies. Skylar and I also have CB radios if anyone else has those installed in their cars.

I'll also be handing put direction sheets and maps to everyone at the driver's meeting before we depart San Mateo.

Let's get a headcount of everyone that's interested!

Colleen and myself are familiar with the route, and I'm sure others are as well. Please let me know if you know this area, as I'd like to have some people in the front, middle, and rear to make sure everyone stays together.

This will not be a race to Alice's, but more a cruise!

Let's make this an awesome cruise with a fantastic turnout! It's been a while since anything big was planned! Hope to see everyone there!

Yay! Sundays usually work for me, and I liked this drive when we did it a couple months ago for an early morning run and breakfast.
