What mods have you done to lighten your SS?

Any ideas?

carbon fiber hood/trunk lid would shave some pounds, maybe delete the rear seats.

Muffler delete will save about 20 pounds. Longtubes will save some weight as well.

Start cutting...

The rear deck lid is heavy so CF saves weight. The hood is aluminum. A CF hood is about the same weight.

Add horsepower.....it's easier than shedding weight, LOL.

LT headers and chambered exhaust. Weighs less than the stock exhaust and added hp. Have plans to replace all panels possible with carbon fiber panels but that will be awhile.

Sucked the window washer fluid out, well left just a bit. But I have no intention on driving in a shower of any amount. Easy few pounds.

Go on a diet and remove all passenger seats. Remove carpet, AC Unit, OEM Exhaust... Replace Wheels, any un-sprung weight. Or trade in current car for 2017 and then apply same...

I think it would be easier to have a good Bowel movement that would result in the same weight reduction. As far as the window washer fluid, leave it in. One, you never know when you might need it (Bird decides to have a BM over your windshield) and TWO, if you go to use it and it's dry, there goes your washer motor pump.
