Rain for Fest?
Unfortunately, the 10-day forecast here in the Cincinnati area, just 100 miles to the east of Indy (and we usually get our weather from that direction), is so far calling for 50% chance of rain next Thursday and 70% on Friday.

I deal with the weather everyday at work, that is too far in advance to worry about, when we get 3-3 days out then you can start checking the forecast.

Oh, I know, here in the Midwest the forecast can change 180 degrees in a day or so, so I'm not hitting the panic button yet at all.

I live 20mins west of the track in the past 3 weeks it rained once here, at this time of year it is really scattered... After the cold front passed yesterday we have highs in the mid 70's. We are not in a drought so hopefully it won't be anywhere near as hot as last year!!

It is way to far away to predict weather. Let's think positively folks! Besides, even if the forcast says 70% chance of rain, that might mean there is a good chance it will rain for a few minutes while the rest of the day could be beautiful. The chances of it raining most of the day are not that high. Either way, we will find ways to have fun! Woooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooo I can't wait!

Exaclty mlee, who is bitching at 83 and very cloudy for the first of August here. Usually it's in the mid 90's, with heat indexs around 100. This usually means it will be in the mid 70's till around lunch before getting into the 80's.
