Just looking at a video with the 9 second livernois package. That is 10k.

So a new ZL1 can be had at mid 50s. Plus 10k. the only price i know about the hellcat is starting price with manual trans. Charger seems to be trending toward 65k.

If you own a ZL1 you have nothing to worry about.

But if you must a Z06 is going to be a world beater

I would hope that the top vette, that is for all purposes a supercar, could beat a four door family car. It would be a colossal failure on GM's part if it didn't. Sad thing is that the four door family car smokes the king Street camaro by a second. I'm hoping that when I get my hellcat charger that it impregnates my ZL1 and they have Hellmaro babies.

I am waiting to see the corvette / viper rivalry heat up. Should be favorable for us consumers.

Corvette and camaro two different types of cars, Corvette is a sports car. Either way for price of Z06 and especially a viper I would rather go jaguar F type,

But you wanted to kick the dodge folks off because they are causing us chevy owners to get upset and if we are getting upset that means their new dodges must be beating the camaro. Thus sounds like sour grapes to me.

Yes you could dump 10k into a new ZL1 to compete and likely win. The problem is at what cost should you ever decide to sell: warranty-gone, resale value of car-gone, money invested in mods and labor-gone. In the long run you would be much better off stepping up to the Z06.

You would be lucky to sell the car for under 50k if you could even find a buyer wanting a modded car with no warranty. Don't think this is the case take a look at the classifieds. If you really want a modded ZL1 buy a used model and let the prior owner take the financial beating.
