Compliments
You know your Camaro is special when a toll taker compliments your car after
it's 10 years old. I was on I-275 in St Pete. It's the forth time a toll taker has complimented my car. Just proves these 5th Gen Camaros are special when complimented by someone who sees thousands of cars every day.

Wasn't too long ago I was behind a man in a older econo-box. He began to slow for a green about a block away. So I moved to his left and sped up a bit, but just failed to make the light.
I looked over as he rolled to a stop and he was smiling, waving, and giving me a thumb up. My scowl turned to a grin as I waved back. And I had to leave with a chirp when the go light came on

The design of the 5th gen is timeless. Its the last true muscle car look the Camaro will ever see. Its a shame... look down the road....all the current cars just blend in with each other. A few times I have come up on a 6th gen SS and didnt even notice it was a Camaro until I was close. Enjoy owning a car that already has the classic look.

I've owned many nice cars over the years and hands down no question my 1LE draws more attention than anything I've ever owned to date. Still amazed at how many times I've been asked since buying it last September if it's a new Camaro???

So do I. I can never understand how guys here on camaro5 want to alter
their '10-'13 Camaros with later year Camaro front facias, etc. You can't improve perfection imo. Keep them spotless and detailed and they look as cool as anything on the road. And that will just improve in time.

I’m as much proof as anyone. Never was a ‘Camaro Freak’ per se but the melding of the Gen’s in the clay room for the 2010 - and ultimately the metal stamps, captured something pretty special. Til 2016 that is!
