Well I Did It !!!

Made a deal on a 2SS/RS, Black on Black, auto, polished wheels no roof or stripes. Going to do my own thing on it with paint. After looking at all the pics on this site, the decision was tough. Went and looked at the colors in person and was attracted to the black. May the detailing begin and never end. Being retired it will give me something to do.

Ok, so now that its on its way lets have some fun. I know most here have mods done. So what would be the first 3 things you would do, and what is the cost?

Congrats. Very nice on the color choice. My favorite is black on black.

My choice:
1) Shorty Headers & High-Flow Cats (aggressive muscle-car sound) (Won't void your warranty)
2) A set of black wheels. (Triple black 2SS look)
3) California Car Duster (Save you time between washing your car)

Congrats!

As for Mods:

1: Intake ($350-$450)
2: Exhaust - Really depends on how extreme you want to go!
3: heritage Grill - Maybe just to give you a little difference in appearance ($250 w/o paint)

These are just my opinions

CONGRATS!! you're gunna love it.

MY first 3 mods were a catback system (Corsa $1200) Hurst Short Throw Shifter ($300) and Window Tints.

I would say tints make a car look sharp, especially black, although they are illegal. NY is pretty strict with them, I have 5% which is as dark as you can go, but 35% looks good and doesn't get you too much attention.
Certainly look into an exhaust, my opinion, it was the best investment right off the bat, made the car sound a little louder and 10x better and more aggressive.

Good Luck with the car!

Tricky, CONGRATS......but I never knew NOT getting a roof was an option! lol oh btw, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
