Just installed the borla catback

I never thought I’d spend that much money on exhaust but I love it. Still overpriced to me, I thought $350 for the catback for the 4th gens was a lot 😂. Also not doing exhaust on a lift isn’t fun

Which model did you go with; S, Touring, or ATAK?

I love mine.

I like my borla system a lot, but agree that they're a bit pricey.

Those 4th gens sound great with just about any system! Wish I could've kept my '95 LT1. Probably not the best setup for power, but those cross-flow mufflers sounded mean!

Yup! But it wasn't only the crossflows that sounded great.

I had a 1995 Trans Am LT1 with SLP Loudmouth I w/stock manifolds and it sounded freaking godly.

I went with the ATAK, I love it, sound is great. It’s loud when you get on it but quiet at cruising

Oh I know, there was a cammed LT1 with borla and that thing just sounded mean and nasty. I still think LT1s sounded better with exhaust than the ls1 4th gens

I can agree with that. Cast iron block in the lt1 vs aluminum block in ls1
My 94 Z28 had LT’s with borla catback which sounded amazing. Miss everything about that car except the POS Optispark

Looking to add exhaust to my 5th gen. Prob start with LT’s then replace the catback. Atak is one of my few choices

Good choice. That low rumble when cruising, and violent scream at WOT is the only music I listen to anymore.

Nice choice.....you wont have to worry about exhaust now for a long time. Quality isnt cheap. It was between the Borla Atkak or the Corsa Xtreme for me....both pricey but both sound fantastic.

I went with the S-type. Has more low frequency response than the Atak at idle and low rpm's. Triggers my Avalanche alarm waning every time I fire it up the SS.
