More than likely the belt is too long and the tensioner is not wound tight enough, If you can't find a belt to work the 50 mm Idler pulley gives you more range I have them in stock just found this thread sorry.

I don't have the 50mm idler yet. Waiting to receive it still. But the belt is way to tight right now with the 9.1 and the stock idler the tensioner is completely maxed out and it took 3 people to get the belt on XD. I called and spoke with Chris and al there but they didn't seem to have an idea what the issue may be and never told me I needed the smaller idler with the 9.1 pulley when I ordered it or when I called back. I even tried calling back a 3rd time to order the 8.6 ring before I found out I needed the idler from talking to Metco and Chris took my info down but I never received a call back from him confirming you could get me one : /. I then found out from Metco about the smaller idler and ordered it through them. Hoping that resolves my issue lol

Sounds like you need a longer belt the 50 mm Idler should give you more range with your current belt.

I apologize, the guys are still getting used to all the ins and outs of the new Products, if ever you don't get the answers your looking for Please ask to talk with Me and I will resolve it.

Sounds good I appreciate it. When I receive the 50mm idler and get it installed ill see if that solves the issue. With how tight the belt is currently is I think it might be ok

Got the pulley in today and swapped and was able to put the belt on myself this time haha. Tension seems to be good. Can't test it though as its snowing out now though so it may be a couple weeks ):

how come you did not just do the 2.35 upper if you plan to run that much boost? seem like it would have save you $600.
