The added weight is helpful with traction. At least it was with the stock suspension. Not sure what's going on yet with the new pfadt stuff. Haven't had enough opportunities to really test it.

Super chiller looks nice but Ted wasn't a big fan.

Good point on the weight and traction.

Your car would be a good test thought.

I tried to put something together for Trek GTO to possibly get it installed and tested in front of everyone at the camaro fest. He didn't seem to interested so I didn't push the issue. If it actually worked on my car he would have made out like a bandit. Oh well, still no fast cars running it.

B, are you running a chiller?

His loss and would love to see this on a fast car.

No chiller for me, I'm one of those yucky front mount turbo guys with air to air.

Just did a lot of reading and wishing I could run this on my setup.

Thankfully the ice seems to be working ok. It took a while to figure out how to optimize it but my car doesn't loose all that much in the heat.

I am not a fan.. not for reason other than more complication.

I have had great luck with the meth and if I had a big ice tank I wouldn't give it up for ANYTHING..

that passes 60 was only a 1.62.. car usually goes 1.51 to 1.55

The only thing on my car I haven't done is a nice 10 gallon cell in the trunk with a nice pump running some 33 degree water through my intercooler brick...

me and another member on this forum with a zl-1 had some runs together at our local strip. I have an rx chiller and he does not. I made 3 runs back to back while he ran 1 run then cooled hood open and ran again when I ran my 3rd run. my iats stayed around 68 degrees in 93 degree weather with no cool down and his iats read 130 degrees with a 45 minute cooldown between his runs. I don't have any actual data logging except what I see in my timeslips and temp gauges.

this is probably a stupid question but can you elaborate on this 200lb ice setup? And baron, the 10gal tank with 33 degree water is that what you are refering to as well?

It's not 200 lbs. It's a 5 gallon cell in the trunk. You dump ice into it and it has a secondary pump the pumps the ice cold water directly into the blower. The heated water returns to the tank and melts the ice which keeps the cycle going.
