Is there Interior ambiance lighting across dash?

I saw a photo on a post at this site here of a guys interior and it appeared as if his interior ambient lighting from the door kept traveling across the dash. My new 2012 TF3 has the blue led line in the 2 doors, but nothing on the dash.

Should I be seeing this blue line from the doors continue across the pass anger side of the dash and also on the short dash piece on the left of the steering wheel? Those two are not lit up on mine, and the guy at the GM is not sure what is supposed to light up and what is not.

So then.... there are 3 additional interior lighting kits?

1 footwell area
2 cup holder area
3 across face of dash.

And each is a separate part number, correct?

Any idea what a ball park price is on each of the three GM accessory kits?

I installed footwells and cup lights myself. Total cost was about 40 bucks. Got the LEDs from pep boys and the wire taps from Home Depot. Pulled up the center console and tapped into the hot wire (red) that goes into the aux/cig lighter and ground it to a bolt under the dash on each side. As another poster said, check out the DYI. It's pretty easy.

GM/Chevrolet does not offer the dash ABL. They only offer a footwell/cup holder lighting hit. I believe the list price for it is like $450 ish

Thank you. That was what I was looking for. So the dash does not and will never have the fine blue line on it.

There are numerous DIYs. But, I think he was asking if you can get the dash ABL through GM.

I did my footwells with the AAC light kit - about $70. There are a lot of other options out there as well...
