Any thoughts on this? I know it's Leupolds cheaper brand and I like my Leupold 6-18 on my other Remington 700.
Mr Twisty, I'd love that vortex.

I have two Leopold VX2 scopes that have never been mounted I may be willing to part with. One is 2-7 and the other is 3-9. PM me if interested.

If you buy the Vortex and don't like it I'll buy it off of you

I feel like crap today. Bad cold. Sinus headache, my ears are ringing, my back and chest hurt, I'm hot, and I feel naseous from the post-nasal drip. Sore throat too.

I pulled out my '43 M1903A3 and my '44 M1 rifle and cleaned them. They were already clean of course.

I still feel sick, but I feel better.

Was going to send my one 700 in for recall... Until I saw the 3+ month wait. I'll take my chances

Ordered a Leupold Mark AR 6-18x40 scope, Leupold rings, and a weaver 20moa base for my new 700.

Leupold = primo stuff, don't know anything about AR series. You'll need ~40 moa scope elevation adjustment to zero @ 100 to 200 yds with that 20 moa base.

[edit] Looked at specs, you have 67 moa elev and windage, should be good to go

Pretty certain it's just a VX-2 without the gold ring and with target turrets.
I should be fine with my setup... I hope

Scope's in.
Weird the adjustment for magnification is 3-9.... but it's definitely the same 18 power as my other leupold
