So today I decided to go to a nearby muffler shop which had great reviews online. I went there and asked how much it would be to get my mufflers deleted and when I heard 160 I thought to myself not too bad then he continued and said 160 was for one side. so it would be 320 for both sides. Is that normal or is he ripping me off...

Huge rip off! $160 for both is even high imo.

Not sure about your location, but here the going price is about $100.00 total.

A local sound shop told me that to my face... "how much to instal a subwoofer if I bring everything to you?" "$150" "Dang why so high?" "You're driving a brand new Camaro" and the he laughed.

I turned around and walked out. Then me and a buddy installed it...only cost me a few hours and a few beers.

I paid $75.00 in Macon, GA a year ago. I would think TN should be comparable, so IMHO anything over $100.00 is too much.
