AGP Turbo owners, factory help from the experts who know

Is anybody here unable to hit the HP they think they should with their AGP TT kit? We pride ourselves on advertising real solid, actual achievable numbers with each set of turbos we sell. Building high HP cars takes hundreds of parts all working exactly right together to achieve this. Where our competitors struggle to make 800whp, we've always found it super easy to make 1000. Please let our experience help you if you need help. Crazy little details with meth nozzles can swing cars from 1000 to 1080whp, just by a tiny change. Tuners who just don't really know turbos and boost controllers is a huge problem and recently swung a customer from 915whp that the tuner said was 'maxed out' and 'all it has in it', to 1020+whp. The higher the power, the more the details matter. When we say 800whp on a 100% stock LS3 engine at 14psi, we mean it and will help you get it.

Post up, and we'll help.

Any chance of getting a base tune for my kit?

AGP Twin Turbo Kit with 51/57 Turbos
Zl1 pump
Bap
Fpcm
ID1000 injectors

Any other recommended parts for reliability before I install? What hp number should I be looking at(max/min)? What parts will need replacing first (clutch, engine internals, etc)? Goal is to be around 900hp to the wheel, and I know I will need more fuel eventually I just wanna get there safely so I will be doing supporting mod upgrades first.

I'm extremely satisfied with my AGP kit. Car is a beast. Went 11.1 @ 130.6 yesterday on wastegate (8psi) with a 2.0 60'. Turned the car up to 10psi and trapped 134.8 so I'm completely satisfied. When I get some drive train parts the car will trap 140+ easily on 15lbs. More than satisfied.

send an email to kevin at AGPturbo.com for a base tune.

Your first limitation is going to be CA crap 91 octane fuel. With what you have now, a competent tuner (much harder to find than you think), you should be able to get about 650whp. Every part on your car can handle that just fine except your rear end if you are launching the car hard off the line with sticky tires, or spinning tires around corners.

The next mod I would do to that car would be meth injection to offset the octane problem of 91 in a 10.8:1 engine. Done right and tuned safely that should get you to 700whp. The only easy step you have above this before you run out of turbo is to put race gas in it and run maybe 760-770whp.

So for you 700whp is pretty easy but to really go beyond that you're going to need a lot of other upgrades.
Bigger turbos 57/62's
Built, lower compression engine 9.5:1 416ci
Dual fuel pump sys
Twin disc clutch
ZL1 rear 3.23 ratio

At that point you can rule the world with whatever HP level you want. I'd recommend setting your sights for 1000whp capable system and drive it every day at like 800-850ish. Street monster, rolling drag radials every day, ready to kill.

Awesome. If you are still on 1LE rear shocks and springs, your combo is literally the hardest Camaro version to launch. Kudos to you for manning up

He said he doesn't have a base file anymore.

Thank you for all the other information.

Haven't gotten to tuning yet, still on install, but trying to get as much information going in as possible. Tuner seems to be under the impression I won't crack 7XX with 93, id1k, bap and 54/57's..

I don't get an email asking for it. You need to email Kevin @ agp for the base file.

If you are a manual car you will be right around 680-700whp if the tuner really optimizes it. On low octane fuel and high compression, it hardly takes any timing to make peak power. Probably will make the most power at 7deg timing and ~10psi depending on the flow of your other parts.

Is a FPCM necessary? Or recommended? What kind of benefit would you gain from having one?
