GMS - Preferred Pricing - Dealer Question

I was searching around the gmfamilyfirst website and noticed that the employee and family discount (previously GMS) is now called Preferred Pricing. I also noticed that the prices are calculated differently than what the prior GMS was.

My question is this: I ordered a camaro on 12/20, did the credit check, and put money down - BASED on the GMS price. I am worried that because I have only ordered the camaro, and have not purchased it, that I will no longer be eligible for GMS, but rather the new Preferred Pricing method. Does anyone know how this will work out? Am I still able to get GMS because I ordered prior to the change? Or am I stuck with the less beneficial Preferred Pricing (I hope not because this method costs more than a grand more!)

Thank you for the help and input!

The GMS program ended on January 4th. The price that now applies to your purchase is the Preferred Price. Sold orders are price protected from MSRP price changes. Your sold order is protected from the MSRP price increase that happened on January 5th. Without that, the Preferred Price would have gone up if not invoiced by January 4th. However GMS, Preferred Pricing as well as other formula price discount programs are considered incentives and incentives are not protected. As a result, you get the incentive in place at the time of delivery. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

UGH. Thats what I figured too. I will keep in touch with the dealer...see what new incentives may come out when the car gets delivered to them. Thanks!
