Yea sales rep from Classic Sugar land swore that if i gave them money my car would be in production less then a week.. To boldly lie like that is just plain wrong. Saw something about GM going bankrupt?? hmm wonder why. I can’t even pay cash for a car and get a simple truthful answer from almost every sales rep.. I just want to know the truth, too much to ask from a Dealer? Lol I knowww….

Sorry Hylton, didn't want to thread-jack, just wanted to quickly reply to this......

Don't just automatically assume the dealer is lying to you. Classic has a very good reputation here and in this case, just purchased the Sugarland location. It is very likely (based on what others are reporting in the Regional section) that this dealership still has several allocation spots open. This would explain the quick turn around for the order being pulled.

The 1st time I was aware of these issues was when GM was forced by some courts interpretation of the law to provide (make available ) at lease one per dealer of the 1978 Silver Anny and Pace CARS in 1978.
