Mine makes noise as well, moaning at low speeds on turns. Also occasionally a chatter in similar situation when its cold out. While I agree with some that rear end noise isn't hugely concerning for such a stout rear end, it does bother me as most don't have this issue and I didn't either for several thousand miles.

I am at 11K miles and the groan on tight parking lot turns has returned. I guess it's time to change the fluid again.

Take it to the dealer, there is a service bulletin on it. Even with the noise the rearend is bombproof, I haven't seen any post of rearend breaking in the 1/4.

Why would I take up my whole day letting the dealer do it when I can change it myself in 15 minutes?

Mine is noisy also, Right From Brand new, about 3700 miles now.
Has a slight whine most all of the time doesn't really bother me because I can't hear it unless the radio is off, but if they are replacing them for this I may take them up on it. 13 ZL-1 Auto
