Dealer in Houston

Went to Landmark Dealership in Houston.
Looking at a few v6’ers the guy came to me and stated point blank there would be a 2-3k dealer markup on sticker. He gave me a price of 39k before tax for a SS2.

I thought they wanted to get these cars out on the street? Can anyone point me to a fair dealer in Houston?

Thanks a bunch!

Buckalew in Conroe... Talk to Eddy Cotton. They have an IBM 2SS L99 on the floor now.

Robbins in Humble is a good one too, but don't waste your time with Munday (same as Landmark... clueless)

Ordered mine from Classic in Sugar Land - Joe Machecek. 281 491 9000. Ordered April 11th - I am at 3000 already. MSRP agreed to +TT&L.

Was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. Classic is apparently the largest Chevy dealer in the country (Grapevine TX location). This dealership took over the old Bill Heard dealership, so apparently they have allocations for order. Definitely worth a call.

BTW - after you get a signed better deal, be sure to send a copy to the Sales Manager @ Landmark with your salesman's business card. Revenge is sweet...a new car at a better price is extra whipped cream.

Yep... correct about Classic in Sugarland, they might still have some allocations left... although the word's been out a while.

Also ordered from these guys on 4/21/09. Guys are great and gave me MSRP signed. The only thing I didn't get was an Order #... Should I have received an order number? I gave them a $500.oo deposit and it was already posted last week.

Thanks

I'm dealing with a guy named Mark. Couple days after I ordered I asked him to get into the GM workbench and had him fax me a copy of the order just to make sure it was done based on what I wanted. Took a few days (they are kinda busy due to just opening), but he eventually got it to me and has been helpful along the way. I've called him every week or two to simply find out if my codes had changed. No other problems as of yet...

Landmark filed bankruptcy September 24 and have been out of business since then. I know my wife worked there 20 years. There is no Landmark Chevrolet dealer in Houston. If they were still there they would be the first to be higher than 2-3k over sticker.

I got mine from Champion Chevrolet on HWY 6. They are charging MSRP. I think all of their allocations are gone, but they are still accepting pre-orders. Mine was #3 on their list and I am at 3300. Ordered a cyber gray 2ss on 10/13

Yeah he is gone. Busted!
Why come on here and say something not true just to find a dealer. Just freakin ask where people are buying don't make a up some story about going to a dealer.

Maybe he meant Lone Star?

They are asking 2k over msrp and have all those launch event v6 models in their back lot.

I also ordered with Mark Myers from Classic in Sugar Land. They still had allocations available as of Friday morning. I forgot to get his email address when I was there and it's not on his business card yet. Does anyone happen to have it?
