Just curious who ordered with this dealer as I did.

I am coming all the way from Houston Midtown.
I went with these guys as they promised MSRP from the get go and I got gouged every where else from the get go.

I know they already delivered 1 car and are auctioning off their 2 V6's today.

They deliverd MY car - and the whole experience was great - MSRP.

My girlfriend ordered a 2LT from them back in October and I bought a 2009 Silverado from them in March. They appear to be sticking by their word so far and my truck purchase was a great experience. Girlfriend just went 3800 and should be getting hers soon.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The dealership seems like a really good bunch of people.

I hope you did not try to go to Monument!!!! Bad news there!

@ John68; Congrats, good to hear. You got the RJT right? Did you have it all in writing, I mean the MSRP part or trust them to stick by their word.

Thanks - yeah the RJT - had a bill of sale type document with the MSRP on there - they did say the MSRP went up 100 or so and I didn't question it - no big deal.

Love the car! 2SS RS LS3 - taking it back tomorrow for the recall.

Liem Nguyn was my salesman - great guy - ran and emailed the workbench whenever I asked for it (couple times a week).

My Sales Lady still is Tracy Hill, maybe I should change to Liem Nguyn too... LOL

ETA undisclosed from beginning to end... I ordered Monday evening 10/13/08, a long time ago.

Last Thursday the car was still scheduled for production like it was at the beginning of April when I asked her about it when she called to invite me for the Saturday unveiling at noon.
Last Friday it was produced according Tracy when she called me again and they have no idea how long shipping will take, guestimated at 2-3 weeks.

Tracy has been a great person but I have had no luck getting a VIN from here.
Friday I called the GM number for the first time and they came back with an 8 digit last part of the VIN and a tracking number all of which I think they got from calling the dealer while they have you on hold...
I managed (through info in one of the threads to piece together the whole VIN but have no way to check it).

Anybody get their welcome/ pre-order kit? I never did.

Number #586 made it home today 5/13/09. From Norman Frede in Houston 1ss auto/polish 20/upgraded sound. msrp Very Happy all the way with my dealer. Now i need help from driven around just wastN gas

I also ordered from Frede. I stopped by there yesterday and my salesman told me that my order will be picked up by GM on Tuesday. Judging from the time lines that I've seen posted here I should see my car in about 6 weeks. I ordered on 2/11/09. I'm #1 of 12 in their second allocation.

Rally Yellow 1SS w/ upgraded sound and black stripes.
