Be interesting to know. If I crawled under my car I could remember where I tie it down at. But be nice to know the designed tie down points!

As a tow driver 95% of the gm cars have them just inside the pinch welds behind the front wheels and infront of the rear tires. Kinda where you would jack a car up...

no factory tie down points. I am installing universal tie downs from RENNLINE since my ZL1 is on a lift I have a found a few places to install and the 66 degree ones do not hang down.

Here is a pic of the frame tie down locations I use.
The rear locations are easy to find, in front of the tires about in line with the jack pad notches on the side rails. The front locations on a ZL1 take a bit of work. take out about 4 - 5 of the bolts on either side of the belly pan so that it is loose enough to pull down so that you can find the factory hole in the frame rail. Locate the hole on the belly pan, and use a Dremel with a roto cutting tool and route out the hole using the factory frame rail hole as your guide. |

Anyone know if the back tie down locations can be used on a convertible?
There is a extra bracing bar that is almost over the hole. Dont know if a t hook will still fit. |

I use one of these 6 holes, the thickest one. I have to put the straps in before pulling the car in the trailer. I use the LSAs in the rear. I have towed thousands of miles like this. No bounce, no movement in the trailer.
