Black Chrome Wheels. Best place to buy?

I'm thinking I might go for black chrome wheels on my IOM SS. Anybody know what all wheels are available in black chrome? I know of the factory style, the Havoc, and the Boss 340. Any others? If I went with the factory style, where is the best/cheapest place to get them?

I got the Havoc's from RPI. Very good price and great wheel! You can also get them here (they are the manufacturer)... http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-Havoc-Cam...item1e66f9fd48

US wheel exchange in Michigan will do factory wheels, you have to core yours though. Or they have a Havoc exchange also... http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAMARO-HAVOC...item23138a9efe

I sold my factory wheels outright in the spring for about $600 so it was a little better than the core. Check out my build thread for more pics of the wheels.

Has anyone had trouble with the coating on the black chrome wheels?

I had a set on my muting and the finish peeled off th first time I washed thm using chrome wheel cleaner.

Almost all of the black chrome coated Mustang wheels do it, actually.

Love the look, though.

Sweet. I'll spread the word. (I'll have to dig up a picture of the ones I had. They were terrible, so if it's as simple as changing cleaning products, that's the win of the week.)

that is the reason hardly anyone offers the stock wheel in black chrome anymore... I can't find any... can find Matte Black and Gloss Black painted, but no black chrome plating

It was weird when mine peeled. It was some sort of clear plastic film that flaked off in big chunks.

PM Sean@WSIAZ he gave me a great deal for my wheel and tire pkg. Not to mention great service. He actually cares about the wheels fitment not like other shops where they just give you a price. Give him a try.

no the stock wheels are the ones giving trouble when coated... I haven't heard of any black chrome aftermarket wheels giving an issue, not to say they won't... its just not common

its VERY common for Camaro wheels, mustang wheels, and even dodge charger/magnum/challenger wheels to flake when dipped in black chrome... don't know what the issue is with the stock wheels doing it
