Spark plug help
I just put in some NGK tr6 spark plugs in my l99, before with the old acdelco plugs the car idled fine but now that i put the tr6's in it runs like crap, misfiring and drooping down to 250 rpm and sounds like it has a very crappy spec cam, I made sure that all the plugs were gapped to .040 like normal. any ideas?

You could of cracked a plug. I would remove them and inspect them
|

where did you get the spark plugs from? lots of fakes out there...

I just bought the plugs from amazon, quick shipping
 I checked all of my plug wires and they are all tight, so i will pull them all out and check if any are damaged.

There are several sites discussing counterfeit spark plugs on Amazon and how to tell the difference. That said I lucked out with the AC Delco I purchased there.

Yep, lots of "fake" plugs out there, gotta watch out and only purchase them from a reputable auto parts store or somewhere like Phastek.com... Plus the TR6's are for cammed applications..Not for stock engines. TR55's are what I had in mine with LT's and a CAI..And tuned..
