Does anyone know where I could find a set of carbon fiber side vents? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm looking for a set of side vents similar to these. But I want them in carbon fiber to accent a carbon fiber hood that's coming in. I'd rather they be real carbon fiber and not wrapped, especially given their proximity to a real CF hood.

Google shopping has been no help, so I figured maybe no one makes them. However, I stumbled across this thread which indicates they do exist. Despite the claims at that thread, searching the forum (I tried with "carbon fiber vents") turns up nothing.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find these?

I did see that there are carbon fiber front fenders available with vents built in, but $1100+ is outside my budget.

They are called 3d carbon, but that's the brand.

Yeah they exist in carbon, I’ve seen them on RPI Designs website… Just select Carbon Flash Metallic from the drop down and there ya go!

Also could just get it direct from 3d Carbon but I don’t think they come pre-painted color options.

That option isn't carbon fiber twill, Carbon Flash Metallic is a GM color. Hes asking about real carbon fiber.

My mistake, that’s what I get for speed reading the post. Then you and ChibiBlackSheep are correct I haven’t seen them in CF twill. OP best bet would be to purchase and have the hydrodipped. I can recommend someone great in Jackson, NJ! DrHydroDip just did a few pieces for me that came out immaculate, check him out on Instagram.

Could always full send it and get both front fenders carbon fiber from Anderson Composites with that vent built in already. Amazing quality product but comes at a cost.

Thanks all, and no worries on the speed reading.

Maybe I'll wait until next year, and then see how much I could get if I sold my OEM fenders to offset the cost; maybe then I could make those CF fenders work and just paint them mostly yellow with some CF accents.

I looked for carbon fiber as well before I installed mine. I couldn’t find them. Just ended up paint matching them with my car.
