In this case, since they couldn't be production cars, they were most likely ctf cars...test fleet cars which have production pieces.

If these are production cars someone is going to need some $400 each tires

That's what I was thinking, since actual production didn't start til Monday... I just didn't know if maybe they make these as "production" cars and send them out early for reviewers.

So now that I see these guys are clickin off 13.0's at 111mph, I'm guessing we will see owners running 12.8's at a minimum all day long. LMAO!

I think the gearing is why it's faster. Look at the highway mileage for that thing, 20mpg max when the Camaro get 24 or 25. That's HUGE difference. I'll take the extra gas mileage......... for now.

Edmunds said the pedals are too far apart for heel toe shifting, and Motortrend or Road and Track said otherwise. All got pretty similar quarter mile times and braking were within a few feet. I thought it would have gotten at least a .90g for handling, but I doubt I will be testing it too much at the limit.

I loved that Edmunds video.

Edit: I saw some handling results over .90g. Regardless, it good enough for now.

wow the numbers on the reviews are way off, looks like 0-60 is the most debatable. nonetheless the 1/4 mile seams consistent for the most part. I think that the mag's are have set their numbers to sell a all out muscle car war. so people would not be able to declare a winner just jet.

I've read a few of the reviews.
On average and stated outright, Camaro's a winner.

I've always thought that automotive 'journalists' have been a little overwrought in their stylistic musings.
Too much hyperbole and rhetorical flourishes.

The real test comes when the public starts seeing these magnificent cars out in public and the car seizes their imagination.
Owners have a 'responsibility' somewhat as ambassadors. Like it or not.
