I wouldn't say it's old verse young. Most people over 40 haven't heard of 7 for all man kind jeans, and they supposedly wear them! I found some similarities on the manual side, and I'm 22.

I INSISTED they installed the manual crank start on all of my cars, including my Camaro. Nothing beats starting a car by pumping your heart rate to 200 in the rain hoping the car will fire up in the first 30 seconds. Thank god for Platinum spark plugs.

Because cars such as the ZL1 offer an Auto Tranny.

My first car was a 1957 Ford 312 with Isky cam and other mods plus a three on the floor with a Hurst Synchro Lock shifter. I live in Boston, not East Shithook (any rural state). Let me see some of the critics of the A6 drive through the Big Dig and up I93 during the afternoon rush hour. I like rock and roll and blues preferably in a smoke filled bucket of blood biker bar. Enough of the mines bigger than yours bullshit please. Besides, real men ride motorcycles and use cars for really bad weather or to get the groceries.

So you can only drive internal combustion....that's weak. 30 seconds with the crank and you're off. A real man fills the boiler and lights a fire under it.

For me... a manual is just more fun to drive than an automatic! But again... to each his own!

I own the L99 6A but I will tell you that back in my younger days all I drove and raced were 4 speeds and I shifted them quicker that an automatic could shift the gears, and that is a fact!!! I just don't like shifting that much any more, that is why I have the auto now. Just my 2 cents so don't say that I am not a man if I don't now drive a stick!!!
