OK guys..... sorry for the delay, I've been running like crazy today. I do have to confess, I lied when I said the engine was completed... well, almost...... I still have to put the oil cooler on but I can't because the engine stand doesn't allow enough room. I also need to put the starter on but I'm thinking of something aftermarket.......

Putting the PS pulley on was a little bit of a workout.

These next two pics are for Joe AKA 572HP. Let me know if this is how you wanted me to do it. The red circles mark all the areas I removed the paint and powder coating off the alternator and bracket.

I also polished the nut for the alternator pulley. Yes........ I know, nobody will ever see it but that's just me, LOL

Now without further adieu .........

I really liked the Lokar dips stick and how it cleans out that area! I did have to drill out the hole on bracket that mounts to the block bigger because the ARP bolt wouldn't go through.

I mock up the serpentine belt with the factory six ribs barbecue the eight rid belt I was told to buy was to long. I hope Jeggs takes it back......... I bought it 6 months ago, LOL.

Here are my Prothane motor mounts. Supposedly they ride a little softer for the street than the Phaft.

Well, a couple things......

I am going to redesign the water vapor line since I'm not going to run it the radiator any more. I'm actually going to weld a -3 AN fitting the the upper radiator hose and attach it there.

Also, have to order the Scott's wires and the bracket to mount the coils to the back of the heads.

I will update hopefully tomorrow on the intake because..... I'm not feeling it. Little beat, so I will pick up where I left off today.

I've decided not to run a remote power steering reservoir tank. So I will be pulling off the PS pump and sending it back to two brass AN fitting for the pick up lines. I already have a aluminum tank and will have it powder texture black with a black anodize cap. It will look very "mechanical".

So stay tuned, there's much more to come...

In the meantime, I want to give thanks to everybody that have been following along for the past ten months. I really appreciate all the nice words and encouragement! I'm happy that everyone was able to enjoy this with me, and perhaps even picked up something of value for your own project.

Nathan

That makes me want to do that to mine, but I know there is no way, not with it being a DD.

You should have no problems with conducting now.

You've still got several months of work left, but I know how nice it is to be able to call parts of it "complete". Amazing work. I WILL see this car in person some day. Pics are nice, but I can't imagine it capturing even a fraction of the detail as a whole.
