Music City Camaro club went on a very nice cruise yesterday with a group of all sorts of classic cars, hot rods & muscle cars. It was a crisp overcast fall day with a couple of brief sprinkles but overall a great day for a cruise & we had a good time. I will post a couple of pics & a link to the rest here but first let me get the bit of bad news from the day out of hte way. On the return trip we took the interstate. I HATE the interstate and this is just one of the many reasons why, I got a new chip in my windshield:

And one of the video clips:

(ignor the end, my Iphone battery went low & I had to deal with that before it would let me stop recording).

Then I'll end with a bit of humor. My husband, Mike had been saying all along he was not going to drive his camaro as they were calling for a 20% chance of rain (he has a garage queen). He said he was driving the Crossfire. I did not know he was driving his Camaro until I saw him back it out of the driveway. Of course I had to give him some grief when it started to rain almost as soon as the cruise got underway:

Soon more victims may fall to the SSlayer! Ruby is about to be the first to get a new system from American Racing Headers. It is their long tube headers with high-flow cats & a new H-pipe set-up for the LLT engine that is supposed to improve sound with only 1-2 HP loss over the X-pipe. Ruby will also get a tune & front sway bars (added to the rest of my suspensioin upgrades from Raymond's I got at the Fest). So you guys better watch out come fall. Here is the discussion thread:

Not sure exactly on timing. They are starting to make the headers now but not sure how long it will take since it is a first of it's kind. Then there is the question of the tune which is turning out to be even more expensive than expected (may need to save up some more $). I am calling Chris today (club member - Precision Motoring) to talk some more about it.

What a nice cruise we had yesterday! Bald eagles flying overhead, buffalo (American Bison) grazing alongside the road, beautiful lake views & fall colors & great American muscle cars (no argueing over muscle vs pony cars here), what could be better? It did end with rain but we got most of the day in with dry roads. Here are a few pics & a link to more:

Now you have traded places with Mike on being a garage queen afraid of a little rain. LOL
