No Longer A Mustang Guy
I just traded in my 2013 Mustang in on a 2011 Chevy Camaro 1SS/RS. My Camaro SS isnt my first GM powered vehicle as my wife has a 2013 GMC Sierra and I also had a 2009 G8 GT. I will say I wish I did some more research on the Camaro as I didnt realize the automatics have the L99 which is basically identical to the L76 I had in my G8. And coincidentally has the same issue I was trying to avoid which is with the lifters. I purchased my Camaro with 20k miles and the previous owner has already tuned the car which I hope doesnt cause me an issue if and when a lifter fails in my engine. Other than that Im happy with my Camaro and plan to add the steering wheel controls, retro guages, hud and leather before the end of the year. Im currently stationed at Fort Campbell but like to drive so you may find me down in GA, FL, TX and a few other states where I have family and friends. Hope to meet some of you here from the site in person at a car meet or cruise in the near future. Where would be a one stop shop for aftermarket parts for my Camaro? With my mustang it was americanmuscle.com so Im primarily am looking for recommendations based off of pricing and quality customer service. Thanks for your time.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
