Hi all
Just introducing myself, new to the USA, moved from United Kingdom, been here three weeks and got myself a Camaro SS, couldn't resist,

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Thanks for the welcome guys (and girls?)
I haven't seen any Camero's in the UK, the SS version at least would be cripplingly expensive to run, it would be top band tax which is $835 a year alone, fuel is over $8 a gallon, plus most non motorway (highway) roads are small country lanes, Camaro would take up the whole lane! But saying that a friend of mine has a new Mustang GT over there he uses for the weekend only, for a bit of fun, his normal car is a Golf TDi ...so you see how it is! But now i am over here i am determined to enjoy the muscle car experience and so far loving it, with wide roads, cheap(er) fuel and no one giving me abuse for having a sporty car! (far fewer hippies here) |
