Air in is to cool the engine bay and drive air down across the headers pushing out through the tunnel was the goal and the goal is achieved.

The idea to create a hood extractor on these cars by GM was obviously a failure or they would have continued on with the design. The extractor is worthless and does very very little to get hot air out. the only time hot air gets out of the extractor is when you are at a stop. that is if you actually took the bottom section off.
Past history shows us that air in works better. If they ever sell a center vent for these hoods that faces forward then I would add that too.

The factory center vent is backwards, so what's your point..

GM performance. Been on the car for some time, but I think if my old brain serves me right I bought them from Chevrolet performance parts direct.

yea, i think you got them in wrong you need to reverse them, i believe the leading should have been in parallel to the front edge of the hood

NO!

I installed them with purpose to pull air in. Hence the reason why I installed them. They are pulling air in to the engine bay. Ca’besh

Links to the vents?

My only concern about being backwards would be the pressure difference that would be needed for the radiator to work effectively but, maybe that is not an issue if you do not have the belly pan...
