I think the guy stating that the mustang looks better than the Camaro must have been smelling his exhaust fumes a little too long....and that color blue is definitely...HORRID!!! a little to effeminate, if you ask me

Well that was wasted time in my life that I will never get back.
So all of the goodies that the ZL1 comes standard with are options for the GT500. Awesome, GT500 with all the options will cost more than the ZL1. The GT500 doesnt look much different than it has for the last few years. I think that its time for an upgrade in appearance and maybe some suspension upgrades as well. The age of live axle, bouncy, no cornering muscle cars is over. Time for Ford to catch up with the times and stop living in the past. I beleive that the ZL1 is breaking new ground in the muscle car game and will set the standard for all to follow in the future.

I found it funny. If you read the threads that is just how they go.
Everybody wants one to be better than the other. There isn't always a better. To me the 2012 zl1 vs the 2013 gt500 will be alot like a z06 z07 vs gtr. Both cars have strengths and weakness but cost similar. Neither is better they just offer a different drive.

This one's an eye brow raiser! A little inside baseball from Fords state of mind. You sure do gain a lot of respect for one side of the equation. But the beauty Carroll portrays..... well...... at least he's sincere! And it does capture the aspect of the car ZL1 will compete with from the standpoint of the marketers. It's the same race today we had back in the 60's. Both car owners should be glad to be getting one. |
