I have a 2012 1ls manual Tran's. The issue I'm having is when launching or accelerating, if my tires spin when I go to shift into to second the gear doesn't seem to fully engage but there is no grinding. Just feels like I'm moving but straining. Please help.

If you motor sound like it is going faster than you car is moving. I would say it is a slipping clutch. It's hard to get a firm grip when you clutch is not engaging
firmly.
