Based on what we've seen so far, do you prefer the new Hyper Blue Metallic that will be available on the 6th gen, or the Aqua Blue Metallic that was available for a limited time on the 2010 5th gen models?

That is hard to say since I haven't seen Hyper Blue out in the sunshine yet....but I'm still going to say Hyper Blue because it looks the closest to the old IROC Bright Blue Metallic that I love.

As an aqua blue owner you'd think id vote for abm, but I voted for hyper blue.

Abm may be a bit greenish blue in cloudy weather but in the sunlight it is simply brilliant. Call it feminine if you want but it gets a ton of attention. I still get compliments on it now although part of that is likely due to its rarity.

Hyper blue is perfect and what I always wanted in a medium metallic blue. I just hope not everyone and their mother buys it lol. Having a rare color is fun. Hyper won't be rare.

Just my opinion. Don't loose sleep over it. I've taken crap for years over liking yellow although I'm growing away from liking it these days. Anyhow, I don't care what anyone says.

For me aqua looked girlish. I suppose the same could be said about yellow.

They won't. For as much love as the bright colors get on these forums, you rarely ever see them in the wild. People will stick to the normal whites, grays, and blacks. If they do go blue, it will likely be the navy blue, not the medium blue.

My three favorite colors are the three at the reveal. I am curious about the metallic black, but I really have no interest in owning and/or maintaining a black car.

I think a lot of it has to do with what the dealers order for the lots.....My dealer only orders the more plain colors on everything....and no white letter tires on ANY Silverado's, period....(which I personally think is odd)...I think they need to try and get a good mix of everything.


And a lot of people either don't know you can custom order a vehicle or don't want to wait for the car so they don't order it.

That shot of aqua blue didn't do a great job of representing the color...and in my opinion those poor renderings are what killed the color off so early. Nobody wanted a color blue like that....I didn't either. ABM wasn't even on my radar until I started seeing decent pictures of it. Now I wouldn't trade my ABM V6 straight up for most SS models (that aren't ABM lol)

I like aqua blue metallic, but I cannot find any SS Camaro in that color that is automatic and has a sunroof near my area. So I will hopefully be purchasing a hyper blue metallic Camaro that is automatic and has a sunroof. Not sure if I will get the v6 or v8 model, I am still waiting to see how much an SS 2016 will cost and whether or not it is something I can afford.

I live in a small town of about 18k people and I have seen 4 of the hyper blue so far. :/ I love the color and do not regret getting it but I did have to do something a little different with the stripes so mine doesn't look the same as all the others in my town.
