L99 6L80 to LS3 TR6060 repin harness help!!
I am currently doing an Engine swap in my 2012 Camaro 1LS (V6). I bought long block L99 because of deal and it came with the 6L80 tranny, L99 wire harness, ECU, and all accessories. I sold the 6L80 and brought a TR6060 and 1LE clutch. everything is bolted and in place and the only issue I'm having is redoing the pins in harness to keep VVT but not DOD, and also plugging L99 harness into TR6060. If you could assist with any knowledge I would be very grateful! I have read the posted examples online, of other pinouts, but just need those questions stated above answered if possible. I am doing this because I want to not to be told it is a waste of time. I also am aware I could just buy LS3 harness |

Hmmm. I would expect that the ECU would be looking for data from the 6L80 TCM as they are vin# matched and assuming the ECU has the stock tune loaded in it.
Does the car start and run at the point your at now?

When changing ECM and going from auto to manual computer wise, when you change the vin does it matter if another car already uses that vin?

New ECM just made it. Still waiting on engine harness.
Has anyone here heard of Chris White? @ http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com ? Apparently he's really good at reprogramming BCM's in many different and unique ways. I've been researching different methods of wiring and programming so that I can have functioning clusters and gauges. |

I also just got a tracking number for wiring harness finally. Once it gets in I'll be dropping in motor. I decided to order new ECM for LS3 and LS3 harness cause as I started to repin I came across a lot of different connections and did not want to splice or have any make shift wiring. I plan on sending new ECM and current BCM in to be reprogrammed together.

Changed pins 52, 16, 44, 64, and 66 respectively to their counter parts except the addition for VVT . To keep VVT and LS3 cam sensor wires on L99 plug followed map. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
